Instead, show them that you want further challenges and will like to perform better, and you are there to request for assistance and advice. No boss who is in his or her right sense will come to despise an employee who wants to contribute to the company. 

Most jobs that pay well require higher qualification or expertise in an area. So you should also be considering your skills and qualification. Are you qualified for that job you are interested in? If you think you are not qualified for the job at the moment, find ways to upgrade your skills. You may have to get a higher qualification, attend special course or even read more about that industry. Alternatively, you can look up other making money ideas and move on!

Learn to sell yourself. Learn to write effective resumes. You have to highlight your expertise, experience as well as qualification. These are the some areas that can earn you extra points when you are applying for a new job. Just remember that there are many money making ideas around, so you really do not have to stick with your unreasonable boss and risk losing your sanity!
